Our Sessions

All Sorts run fun & relaxed groups, for people with

mild to moderate Dementia, who want to socialise in an understanding environment, whilst their loved ones gain a 4.5 hour much needed break from their caring roles.

Our groups have a fantastic team of Dementia Friends Support Workers, and volunteers who assist in the running and implementing of activities and entertainment throughout the day.

Every member of the team shows great understanding, patience and empathy, and also receive regular updates and new training in dementia care to ensure best practice.

We also ensure there is a trained first aider in every group.

THE FIRST SESSION IS FREE

Frequently Asked Questions (Click For Answer)

Are special dietary needs catered for?

Yes, please let us know what your needs are, and we can ensure they are met.

What if my relative takes medication at lunchtime?

This will be discussed as part of our initial assessment, and our prompting policy can be explained. This should not be a barrier to attendance.

What if me or my relative becomes ill whilst attending?

We will always ask for emergency contact details. This person will be informed. There is always a first aid trained support worker available, who will call for any services required.

Will we lose our place if we are away?

At this time we ask members to pay weekly, for as long as they want their place held. If you wish to cancel your place, you can do so at any time and cancel further payment immediately, with no notice required. If you have concerns around this or funding, please let us know to discuss options available.

Can I / My relative attend more than one day per week?

Yes, if places are available this is not a problem.
